La Riviera - Stylized Unreal Engine Environment

I am thrilled to present my latest project, La Riviera, an aesthetically crafted Italian-inspired environment. This town's allure lies in its scenic coastal setting, drawing inspiration from various Italian seaside towns. The development process began with a blockout scene created in Blender, subsequently refined and executed in Unreal Engine.

All assets, including props and tilable materials, were made from scratch using Blender and textured using Substance. Modular techniques, complemented by vertex painting, were employed to ensure a cohesive and realistic appearance for the buildings. To maintain a sense of scale and intricacy, I deliberately kept the scope of the project concise.

Regarding lighting, I primarily utilized UE5's Global Illumination feature, accompanied by custom adjustments to the post-processing pipeline. This approach contributed significantly to the project's visual fidelity and stylized quality.

In conclusion, I take am really happy how this project turned out and I eagerly anticipate exploring similar endeavors in the near future!
