Undertide was my personal exploration into the low poly art style, centered around creating an eerie shipwreck scene on an abandoned cliffside island. I wanted to experiment with how a simple geometric approach could still deliver atmosphere, mystery, and strong environmental storytelling.
Everything in this project was handmade from scratch — from the cliffs, skeletal remains, ruins, shipwreck pieces, vegetation, and props to the overall composition and materials. A major focus was finding the right colors and mood, using green-blue tones, fog, and lighting to create a haunting abandoned island environment with a mysterious underwater influence.
Built entirely in Unreal Engine, this project allowed me to explore stylized worldbuilding while refining my skills in low poly design, composition, and color harmony.
