Bellmour started after I stumbled across a Victorian concept online and immediately thought: “Yep… I need to build this in 3D.”
I wanted to recreate that mysterious late-night atmosphere — the kind of room that feels oddly cozy but also slightly haunted at the same time. Rather than copying the concept directly, I used it as inspiration and reimagined the scene in my own stylized way.
The environment was created in Blender, while many of the props and assets were textured in Substance Painter to help push the hand-crafted, painterly feel of the scene. I had a lot of fun experimenting with exaggerated Victorian shapes, warm candle lighting mixed with cold moonlight, and filling the room with small storytelling details to make it feel alive.
This project became a really fun exploration of stylized environment art, atmosphere, and visual storytelling — basically an excuse to make the weird cozy Victorian room I always wanted to see in a game.
