Wispstone: Stylized Diorama

Wispstone: Stylized Diorama

Wispstone is a small environment piece I made purely for fun. The concept: a mossy forest shrine glowing with candlelight, watched over by a drifting wisp. I wanted something atmospheric and a little mysterious—the kind of scene that hints at a bigger world without explaining it.

Most of my energy went into the materials and lighting. The stone needed to feel ancient and damp, the candles soft and well-used, and the wisps (ghosts) had to pop without overpowering the warmth of the flames. Keeping the scope small let me focus on those details and just enjoy the process from start to finish.

Created in Blender. One of those projects that reminded me why I got into 3D in the first place.
